Baby Jude and family

Little Jude was just a few days old when he came to the studio for his photo session. Born on Christmas day!

The whole family came including his three older siblings who were amazing for their photos (some bribery was needed!) I always photograph siblings first so they don’t get bored waiting for their turn!

Jude wasn’t keen to sleep but we still managed to get lots of lovely portraits of him and the family together.

Love his cute little face all bundled up in a wrap.

My newborn sessions take a couple of hours to complete, working around baby’s needs to plenty of time for milk breaks!

If you are expecting a baby this year and would like to book in let me know, I usually pencil in a date a week after your due date.

Baby Fraser

It wasn’t too long ago that I was photographing little Fergus as a baby so to meet his new little baby brother Fraser was lovely.

Little Fraser was a superstar for his photos although he didn’t want to sleep and Fergus was so good with his brother kissing him on the head and was very interested in the little baby bed for him!

The family photos are always my favourite as it’s so nice to see everyone cuddled together with their new arrival.

If you are expecting a baby in the Autumn let me know, you can book in for a newborn session around your due date.

Baby Kai

Throwing it back now to baby Kai’s newborn portraits over a year ago. I have seen the family since several times for updated family photos.

Such a lovely little family and a special brothers bond between Kai and Luca.

Kai was so good for his photos. I love to include props for babies too so it was nice that the family had brought along a teddy bear too.

It’s lovely to see families grow throughout the years and do photo sessions as baby grows so Kai is much bigger now!

Drop me a message if you would like some up to date photos of your family.

Baby Thomas, newborn portraits

Tiny Thomas was a little superstar for his newborn portraits, I love how newborn babies have the cutest little frowns, like little old men, so wise!

Thomas’ parents brought along a little cuddly elephant for photos as well which I always love to photograph with newborn babies for size comparison, its important to capture just how tiny they are!

As ever though I love the photos with his Mum & Dad cuddling him, these are the cutest little moments and a massive reason why I love newborn photography in Cumbria.

Contact me to book in a photo session if you are expecting a new arrival!

Baby Freddie

Morning all! Who is excited to see the sunshine again?!

I can’t wait to photograph more cute newborn babies this year. Here is a throwback to baby Freddie’s portraits last year.

How adorable is he with the little lion hat, I’m glad we managed to capture a few smiles too. I tend to advise to do newborn portraits when baby is under two weeks old but its always possible to do the sessions with older babies. It is just that they may be more awake and alert, this can be cute too though!

As much as I love photos of baby on their own I love doing photos of baby with Mum and Dad too, these cute little interactions are fab!

Contact me to book in a photo session for your little one.

Mia – Newborn and Christmas portraits

As a newborn photographer in Cumbria it gives me so much pleasure to see your kids growing up from tiny little newborns to toddlers.

It was great to see Mia again the other week for her Christmas portraits after doing her newborn photos earlier this year.

Her newborn session was fantastic, she was so lovely and sleepy, we had photos of her with her Dad’s teddy and also in her nursery too.

Mia’s newborn session was at home which is always a fab place for portraits, Mum and Dad can feel comfortable and you have everything you need to hand!

Contact me if you would like to book in a newborn photo session
