The Lake District is a fantastic place to live, visit and photograph. Even in the middle of winter on a dull day the Lakes and the countryside have hidden gems of colour to photograph. A perfect place to get some family photographs done.
I headed to Bassenthwaite Lake near Cockermouth and Keswick with Orla, Emilia and the family. Despite the high water levels there was still space to walk by the shore, the sisters cuddling is the cutest thing. We found some leaves to throw and then there were ample opportunities for stone throwing of course!
