Sheffield bluebells portraits

Every year at the start of May I head to Ecclesall Woods in Sheffield for bluebell portraits. I love how magical the woods look when the bluebells arrive its like a carpet of blue and I live for it!

I spent a weekend photographing families in the woodland, there is plenty of space to run around and lots of fallen trees to climb on so perfect for kids that like to run free!

When the sunshine peeps through the trees it looks amazing.

So lovely to see families there every year and meet new families too. Lots of love to you all.

Tilly, Freddie & family

Ah, remember those carefree days when families could meet up in parks? We are heading back to summer last year for today’s blog. I had the pleasure of catching up with Tilly and Freddie in Sheffield Botanical Gardens and meeting their cousins too.

We had lots of fun hiding in trees doing silly poses and running around.

As always, my favourite photos are the natural ones, and I always join in the fun by playing peekaboo and running around too!

Looking forward to the days when I can get back to photographing families again!

Zoe & Theo

Cumbrian family portraits are lots of fun. I headed back to Sheffield recently though for some photos in the Botanical Gardens. It was lovely to see Chris, Alison Zoe & Theo again. Such a lovely family. The kids loved pretending to be bees and running wild – we managed a few photos standing still too!

Helen is a Lake District family photographer who also photographs babys and families in Sheffield too.

Lizzie

I love photographing families outdoors, the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield is fantastic for its lovely floral displays and the fountain which is every child’s favourite attraction!

Lizzie is so adorable – she was running so fast I could barely keep up with her!

So cute xx

I love to photograph families in Sheffield and also in the beautiful Lake District
