Portraits by HelenI love Christmas! Its the best time of year – and what a perfect way to start the festive season than with a portrait photo session for your family?!
I set up my pop up studio in Fletchertown Community Centre with lots of festive sparkly props including some fake snow which was a favourite with everyone! People even brought along their dogs so we managed to get some photos outside with the family pooches!

After having taken maternity portraits of Abbie not long ago it was lovely to meet the new addition to their family – little Rory at the weekend. He is just over a week old and so cute. He even managed to pull out a smile after 5 minutes!
We did the photo session at their home in Wigton – its always nice to do these sessions at home where you all feel comfortable.
Big brothers Seth and Jake were very keen to help and as good as gold for their photos with Rory too – such a lovely little family.

Its always nice to photograph babies at any age, past the newborn stage at around 2-3 months baby is smiling much more so these are really fun photo sessions to do.
Henry is 3 months old and such a cutie, he looks adorable in the rabbit hat!
I love taking natural photos of the family together too – no deliberate posing just lots of family cuddles!
