Finn & Poppy – Dodd Wood Autumn portraits

What’s your favourite time of the year? Mine has to be Autumn, I love those lovely sunny days where the light is bouncing off the leaves and you can have fun with leaf fights!

Dodd Wood on the outskirts of Keswick is fantastic, there are lots of little walks to go on and a fab stream running through as well.

It was lovely to see Finn and Poppy again for some up to date Autumnal photos in the forest. Both were fantastic at posing, hiding behind trees and of course throwing lots of leaves!

I love the natural photos too of everyone laughing and having fun, that’s why outdoors portraits are so fab.

Dodd Wood Autumn portraits – Holmes family

Autumn in probably one of my favourite times of the year, crunchy leaves, lovely colours and low sunshine.

Dodd Wood near Keswick is a lovely place for photos, with lots of leaves on the ground for throwing around, perfect for fun family portraits.

The Holmes family were fab for their portraits, lots of running around, posing, playing peekaboo with leaves and posing for the camera.

Rowan & Jessie – Mirehouse gardens family portraits

Autumn mornings are my favourite when the sun is low in the sky and the colours on the trees are stunning. I am lucky to live close to Dodd Wood and Mirehouse gardens opposite are just amazing.

The perfect place for a family portrait photo session. Jessie and Rowan were kept entertained with collecting interesting leaves and throwing them around plus there was plenty of opportunity to run around.

My favourite family photos are the natural ones where you are all running around having fun in the beautiful outdoors.
