How excited are you that spring is finally here! It feels like months of rubbish weather has finally come to an end and we can get our washing on the lines outside! The spring flowers are my favourite thing to photograph, they are the first signs that spring is here and the daffodils have battled all the high winds recently to survive!

Hope Park in Keswick always has amazing displays of spring flowers with daffodils strung around the little wooded area and displays of colourful tulips and blossom trees.

I planned a day of mini sessions in the park for families, we had a day of postponing these sessions for people to use the studio instead, those that opted to hang on for good weather were rewarded with a lovely spring day in the Easter holidays -perfect for the photos. We had one little tiny baby who was just 6 weeks old – not sure he was impressed with the daffodils and another family of two sisters who I have photographed at a toddler group in Fletchertown before.

Amelia is the perfect poser – she loved running around the tulips and sniffing the flowers, her sister Penelope gave us some cute smiles and showed us how good she was at standing. Such a cute pair and well deserved ice creams afterwards were a great idea!

I have more mini sessions planned outdoors this summer – check out my shop for more details.
xx
