Nicole – Maternity portraits

It was lovely to meet Nicole and her family for her maternity portraits in my studio in Cumbria.

She looks stunning in her third trimester and brought some lovely outfits to try out for her portraits including a scan photo and booties as props.

Rox their son came along too, he was very entertaining, not sure he wanted to stand still for long!

Such a great way to remember your pregnancy, if you want to book a maternity photo session these are best done around 34-36 weeks.

Drop me a message to book in a photo session

Keswick maternity portraits

If you are on holiday in the Lake District why not take advantage of the amazing scenery for a maternity photo session?

I met this happy couple who were on holiday in the Lakes, I suggested the area around Keswick for photos which was perfect for the stunning views.

The park next to the lake has a great location, the Autumn leaves were a fab addition, we even had fun throwing them around!

After photos in the park we headed down to the lake and the jetty for photos, avoiding the scary geese!

We had a little walk up to Friar’s Crag too for photos. Despite the chill in the air the weather was lovely and if you can brave getting your bump out in the Autumn it’s always worth it!

Contact me to book in your maternity session in the Lakes.

Anxhela – Maternity portraits

At 36 weeks it’s a fantastic time to book a maternity photo session. My cosy studio in Fletchertown is the ideal place to capture those special memories of your bump.

Anxhela looked amazing although she was recovering from a cold, you couldn’t tell! She brought along some props and some fab ideas for her portraits.

As well as the gowns I have for maternity sessions she brought along a shirt, flowers and an incredibly long length of chiffon!

She looks amazing in her outfit combinations and I love the flowers as a prop too, great idea! I love using a scan photo or little baby booties for photos too as this makes for a lovely photo comparison when baby is born too.

We then had some fun with the chiffon, getting her partner to throw it up in the air so we could get those dramatic Beyonce style photos!

I can’t wait to meet the little one! Good luck!

Charlotte, maternity portraits, Windermere

I love doing maternity portraits outside – especially when the location is so meaningful to you. Full marks to Charlotte’s other half who organised a surprise visit to Windermere and a surprise photo shoot for her in her last few weeks of pregnancy. Windermere is a special place for both of them.

Charlotte looks so stunning and we had a lovely wander around Bowness for these portraits – avoiding the crowds and the over enthusiastic geese!

Let me know if you want to do a natural, outdoors maternity photo session with your partner, the Lakes are a fab location for this 🙂

Good luck with baby’s arrival!
