Liam, newborn photography Windermere

Little Liam is just under two weeks old and so adorable. He was so interested in his photographs he flat out refused to sleep but not to worry we managed to get some great portraits of him!

I particularly love getting natural photos of baby being cuddled by his parents, these photos of you cuddling your bundle and trying to get him off to sleep are my favourites, it shows the love you share and that is very special.

    Oliver – newborn portraits in Carlisle

    Oliver is just a few weeks old – the perfect sleepy age for baby portraits – he was as good as gold for his photos while we all looked on at how cute he looks! Love his big hands and chubby cheeks – so cute!

    Big brother Joshua was looking on and helped pick the best hats for him to wear. He then took a turn posing with his little baby brother. We had to do a fair bit of tickling to get some smiles! Ha ha!

    Love doing family portraits in your homes – you feel more comfortable and relaxed and I find these photos to be so much more natural.

    Georgina, Wigton newborn photographs

    Tiny squishy newborn portraits are my favourite. Georgina was tiny at just under two weeks old and was as good as gold for her photos – she even pulled out a few smiles for us!

    As much as I love photos of baby on their own in cute hats and blankets my favourite images are always the ones of baby with Mum and Dad – there is something magical about capturing that little bubble of time after you get home with baby and enjoy long snuggles in bed and marveling at how tiny they are. I love to capture these moments naturally in the comfort of your own home.

    Let me know if you are expecting a new arrival and want to book in for a newborn photo session – these are best done in the first two weeks of baby arriving.

    Austin – Newborn photography, Aspatria

    Its a pleasure to meet new additions to the family and especially in this case as Austin is a new arrival to one of the families our boys go to school with.

    He is a lovely baby – with squidgy cheeks and a very calm nature – so good – love how curled up he is in my blankets!

    We also managed to squeeze in some photos with his big sister Ruby who despite her best efforts not to smile for me managed to pull a few out of the bag – ha ha!!

    A lovely little family – such a pleasure to see you all!

    Adam, newborn photography Wigton

    I love meeting new families and its so special when a new baby arrives into a family – Adam is lucky to have two adorable big sisters who will definately be doting on him as he gets older!

    We did Adam’s newborn photo session in the space I have access to in Fletchertown near Wigton.

    Adam was well behaved for his photos although not sure he was keen on those hats! I love the photos of him with his sisters – these are so cute!

    Plus can I just say – how amazing does Mum look too! I know how hard it is to feel comfortable in front of the camera after giving birth but I think its so worth it to have photos of you with your little one too even if you have had no sleep!

    Isabelle, Wigton newborn photographs

    Little Isabelle is just over two weeks old and such a cutie, look at that cheeky little smile!

    We took her portraits in my pop up studio in Fletchertown. Despite early smiles she wasn’t too keen on sleeping preferring cuddles instead!

    I love the photos of baby cuddled up with her parents, these photos show the real emotion and joy of having a new baby. My favourite!
