Katie, newborn portraits Cumbria

Having already met this family for an Autumn photo session it was a pleasure to be invited to capture newborn portraits for the newest arrival to the family, little Katie who was only a few days old when I met her.

I love doing family portraits at home, you feel more relaxed and the portraits can be nice and natural.

Katie was an absolute dream for her photos once she had a nice feed. I love how we used some cute little Christmas hats for her photos – I can’t wait for Christmas!

After some cute photos – thanks for the smiles Katie! It was time for a few photos with Mum and Dad before we got some photos of all her siblings together too. 4 girls together – so cute!

Give me a shout if you would like to book an at home or studio newborn portrait session.

Orla & Ivy – Autumn family portraits, Sheffield

I love to photograph families as they grow and it was such a pleasure to see this family again having photographed Ivy last year in the Autumn.

There is now a new addition to the family, tiny little Orla, such a cute little bundle. I met the family in Weston Park in Sheffield for some photos.

Ivy and I had fun running around – photography keeps me fit! We also had time for some adorable photos with little Orla who was a bit bemused to be lying down on a rug under a tree!

I love natural family portraits outside if the weather is lovely, the kids feel much more at home outside and the colours going into Autumn are fantastic.

Contact me to book in an outdoors family photo session or you can now buy a voucher for a photo session in the spring or summer next year. A perfect gift for anyone expecting a baby in the new year!

Toby – newborn portraits

Having photographed this family over the years it was amazing to be invited back to capture the new arrival of Toby, a new brother for Noah.

Noah is such an amazing big brother and also a keen photographer too – thanks for the help Noah!

Toby was 8 weeks old when I photographed him, not a problem to photograph babies slightly older than a few weeks. I love to capture their little personalities as they emerge. Poor Toby wasn’t too keen on lying down for photos but we managed some great portraits, I love the ones of the brothers together. Noah is so good with him and Toby was in awe of his big brother.

Look forward to seeing you all again in the spring!

Brooke, newborn portraits Wigton

Baby Brooke is just under two weeks old and so adorable! She wasn’t too keen on sleeping but loved photos with her big brother and her gigantic elephant! I love it when you bring your own props to a photo shoot!

The session took place in my pop up studio in Fletchertown, a nice cosy space where we can get lots of natural photos of you all together as a family.

Contact me to book in a photo session for your family – it can take place in your home, in my mini studio or even on location in the lovely Lake District!

Esme, newborn photography Workington

Esme is teeny tiny, despite being several weeks old now – she is so adorable but wasn’t too keen on falling asleep!

I do love the wide awake photos though – you get the funniest expressions and I always love the photos of you interacting with your little one. I especially love the big sister pictures here – so cute!

Contact me to book in a newborn photo session! It can take place in your home or in my mini pop up studio too.

Georgina, Wigton newborn photographs

Tiny squishy newborn portraits are my favourite. Georgina was tiny at just under two weeks old and was as good as gold for her photos – she even pulled out a few smiles for us!

As much as I love photos of baby on their own in cute hats and blankets my favourite images are always the ones of baby with Mum and Dad – there is something magical about capturing that little bubble of time after you get home with baby and enjoy long snuggles in bed and marveling at how tiny they are. I love to capture these moments naturally in the comfort of your own home.

Let me know if you are expecting a new arrival and want to book in for a newborn photo session – these are best done in the first two weeks of baby arriving.

Henry & Freddie – newborn portraits

I love to watch families grow, having photographed Laura & Matthew’s wedding 5 years ago I have photographed Freddie throughout his first year and now at 3 he has become a big brother!

Henry is now two weeks old and the most chilled out newborn I have ever met! He enjoyed curling up in my basket and rocked the same hat we used on Freddie’s newborn photo shoot.

Afterwards we had time for some family portraits and some photographs of all the cousins together too, easier said than done when they are all different ages!

Such a lovely little family 🙂 xx

Amman, Lake District baby portraits

I love photographing babies at all different ages, Amman is 10 weeks old and a little bruiser! He was so keen to sit up and get moving that he didn’t want to lie down!

We managed to get some lovely smiles when he decided that he liked my silly voices!

It was nice to get some photos of him and his Mum too – its always nice to have some special cuddling portraits done! Although to be fair I think he preferred all attention to be on him!

Please contact me if you would like to book onto any of my portrait sessions – they make great Mother’s Day gifts! xx

My photo sessions are always lots of fun, the natural photos are always the best when you are laughing!
