Sophie & Jennifer – Summer family portraits

I often head back to Sheffield (where I used to live) for family photo sessions throughout the year and the first weekend of the Summer Holidays was spent in the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield photographing lots of fantastic families.

Adorable sisters Sophie & Jennifer were so well behaved for their photos – there was lots of running around, cuddling and having fun!

These natural moments are definitely my favourite. Let me know if you would like an outdoor family photo shoot, there is no limit on the age of the children, I have even photographed newborn babies outside too!

Adam, newborn photography Wigton

I love meeting new families and its so special when a new baby arrives into a family – Adam is lucky to have two adorable big sisters who will definately be doting on him as he gets older!

We did Adam’s newborn photo session in the space I have access to in Fletchertown near Wigton.

Adam was well behaved for his photos although not sure he was keen on those hats! I love the photos of him with his sisters – these are so cute!

Plus can I just say – how amazing does Mum look too! I know how hard it is to feel comfortable in front of the camera after giving birth but I think its so worth it to have photos of you with your little one too even if you have had no sleep!

Abbie & Hollie, bluebells in the forest

I love photographing children in the great outdoors, they can roam around free and I love the natural smiles I can get from them running around, playing hide and seek and jumping!

May is one of my favourite times to photograph outside as in Ecclesall Woods in Sheffield there is a carpet of bluebells every year.

Having photographed twins Abbie and Hollie a few years ago it was lovely to see them again and they are just the cutest in their matching dresses and were so loving and kind with each other!

What a lovely family – such magic moments to treasure xx

Demi – Mother’s Day portraits

Demi wasn’t too keen on having her photographs taken but after a few cuddles from Mum and blowing some bubbles we managed a few smiles!

Skye, Mammy & Me mini portraits

I love a good Mother’s Day photo session and little Skye was an absolute star for her photos smiling away for us and showing off her rolling skills!

We had some fun with bubbles and then she showed me how she can put her foot into her mouth whilst on her back – excellent yoga skills!

I love the natural photos with the family too, the photos when you are all laughing and having fun are the best.

Cara – Maternity portraits, Wigton

Cara is 37 weeks and looks absolutely amazing – not a stretch mark in sight! We did her maternity portraits in the space I can use as a studio in Fletchertown. Cara is expecting a little boy and she already has a little hat and a teddy picked out for her little one so it was nice to incorporate these into the photos.

Cole – Valentines photos, Wigton

I love doing a themed photo shoot and with Valentines day coming up soon what better way to celebrate than coating yourself with confetti and playing with some heart shaped balloons!

Cole came to me studio space I have access to in Fletchertown for his photo session. We had lots of fun with bubbles, some fabulous posing and then he completely coated himself in confetti!

My photo sessions are always lots of fun, the natural photos are always the best when you are laughing!

Jemimah & Noah – Autumn family photos

Its a pleasure photographing families in the Lake District and in Sheffield too. I first met Jemimah as a newborn for her photo shoot so its lovely to see her and her brother as school aged kids now!

Such a great family – the leaf throwing was very enthusiastic and they even did some skipping too!

The portraits were taken in Sheffield in Ecclesall Woods. I am running photo sessions throughout the year outdoors both in the beautiful Lake District where I am based and also in Sheffield too.
